Greek Room

The Greek Room is the oldest architectural style of any of the Nationality Rooms, paying homage to a golden age of ancient Greece, the 5th century BCE. Pentelic white marble columns, pilasters and the floor lend authenticity to this temple interior design. Some elements of the Erechtheion-inspired the Athenian architect, and local fraternal organizations sponsored the chairs, which feature locations in Greece.

A Homeric quote above the chalkboard is meant to elicit nobility and excellence in one's activity.
