The Swedish Room is based upon farmhouse architecture that is seen at the Skansen Museum, Stockholm. Paintings in the manner of Gustav Reuter were done by Olle Nordmark to show allegories of Justice, Judgment, and Knowledge, while the fresco on the rear wall shows St. Katerina and the Magi on the way to Bethlehem.

Elements and decoration typical of a number of Skansen 18th century farmhouses help to create an illusion of a time several centuries ago.
